So NYE is fast approaching us, and by this I mean we are just hours away from the big 2017. Well that is if you live in the UK, if you are reading this from perhaps Australia then the case may be right now that the clock has struck midnight and you are technically in another year to me right now. Crazy huh!
With the hours slowly ticking by before us gals need to start putting on our best glad rags I decided to throw together a quick post on a great glam look you can create using some of Seventeen UK's latest products! In fact if you do really do love the look of the products, you even have time to dash out to your nearest Boots and grab some of these fab pieces.
Seventeen UK have released some really great products recently and one of my faves has got to be their new mega matte lipsticks! I am obsessed with matte lips and this formula is so creamy its simply perfect for my lips during this cold dry winter season. I really suffer from chapped lips so to be able to still get my lipstick fix I need a good formula to stop them drying out even more!
Also new to their range is the cheek stamp which is super handy for carrying around in your bag for any needed touch ups! Great for NYE as we all know the night can be a long one and if anyone's like me, my makeup tends to look like its melted off within an hour of some serious acrobatic dancing. So when I head to the bathroom and see I need a touch up, having this cute little all in one blusher is just what I need! The case carries the stamp applicator as well as the blusher all in one case, too good!
The look I have decided to create using my new products is a subtle pink glow, which I think would be a great look for an New Years Eve in with friends perhaps, or an event where you don't feel you need a heavy makeup face. It's a soft kind of glam look I would say. First up before creating this look I prepped my face with my new Bee Good Primer which you can read a little more about in my last post, What I got in my bloggers Xmas 2016 bag. After that I fill in my brows using my Brow Drama and apply my Fit Me foundation.
For a soft glowing eye shadow look I used my new Chocolate and Peaches palette from I heart make up, just adding a beige pink shade to the base of my eye then blending a darker pink along my crease. I prep my lashes with the clear definition mascara to give them some separation before adding false eyelashes. Using the all out pout palette I take the darker pink shade and create a base layer for my lips, accentuating my lip line with this colour. Finally I smother my lips in the shade 'back to the fuchsia' from the mega matte range and dab some of the stamp blusher along my cheeks for a flush of colour.
