Can you tell I'm excited?

So it's been about a good 5 years since I've been to a music festival, which as I look back has flown by yet I still feel shocked that it's been that long!
I have never been to Glastonbury before so this is why I am a bit unbearably excited as I have heard so many incredible things about this festival. For me music festivals are one of the most amazing experiences because it involves 3 great things: hanging out with friends, listening to live music and ridiculous amounts of alcohol consumption.

So as I pointed out above (hard to miss as it's in caps) there's only really about a week now left until Glastonbury which means this week I am going to be working hard af to bring you some serious festival fashion inspo. As we all know I only shop High Street so if you are looking for some new affordable additions for your festidrobe then look no further.

Today we are talking about this £15 Missguided dress which is the FULL PRICE of this piece and not just something I nabbed in the sale. Whilst browsing the Missguided website online (a daily occurrence) I found this sheer frill detailed polkadot shirt dress which I just knew would be a perfect item for festival wear. If you are an avid festival goer like myself you will know that most of the time it can get prettttty warm. Not because of our amazing British weather but because you are constantly on the move keeping that body heat pumping. Whether you are jumping up and down like a crazy person to a headliner, trekking miles between campsites and stages or squished amongst thousands of other people in a giant tent - sometimes things can get a little stuffy. So items of clothing which have nice light material is a definite essential for me.

This dress in particular has a simple black slip that goes underneath the sheer dress which is lightweight and non restrictive. Over the top then goes the polkadot number which has the most amazing frill detailed sleeve. If you are a glutton for frills like me then this dress is for you. Another plus is that because of the thin material it's also a space saving item packing wise as it takes up no room at all!

With this dress you also can style it a few different ways which I love. You can keep it simple with minimal accessories and some cute sandals (weather depending) you can go for a fedora and chunky shoes for a more rock chic vibe or you can go edgy with a sports luxe touch and add a cap and some trainers. Plus regardless of what style you choose this dress will always look great with a statement choker.
